Raw Cacao Drink

The personal inspiration

I developed a cacao drink using raw cacao as my starting idea. My inspiration includes the sacred significance of cacao in the Aztec world and the image of an ancestral warrior’s drink. This is my contemporary interpretation, rather than a reconstruction of a verified historical recipe.

What is currently recorded

This entry records my personal account of the drink experiment. A final ingredient specification, processing record and shelf-life assessment have not been published.
